Johnston Canyon Falls & Ink pots Banff National Park
Johnston Canyon and Ink Pots Johnston Canyon Resort to Upper Falls—2.7 km (1.7 mi) Johnston Canyon Resort to Ink Pots—5.8 km (3.6 mi) Half-day trip, allow 45 minutes to Upper Falls Elevation gain: 215 m (700 ft) Maximum elevation: 1645 m (5,400 ft) Maps: Banff 82 O/4; Castle Mountain 82 O/5 The trail to the waterfalls of Johnston Canyon has to be the busiest in the Canadian Rockies. Nearly every day throughout the summer, hundreds of hikers follow its canyon-clinging catwalks and cliff-mounting staircases to the gorge's Lower and Upper Falls. While the canyon and its unique trail are certainly worthy of a visit. Ink Pots. A small percentage of those who hike to the Upper Falls continue another 3 km to the Ink Pots - seven cold mineral springs bubbling to the surface in the open meadows beside Johnston Canyon Creek. Above Upper Falls, the trail climbs out of the canyon to join the trail from Moose Meadows. In just over 2 km, it descends to the meadows and the springs, located on the right side of the trail not far from the creek. While these springs are unique (they have a constant temperature of 4 degrees C. and their basins are composed of quicksand), many hikers find the extended journey above the canyon a bit of a disappointment. Hopefully open views of the Johnston Creek valley from the site offer some consolation.

Episode 45 Kim Possible: Sick Day (1/2)
I beat this is one of the worst day with Kim when she accidentally took her tiwn bro's sick and got COLD. Maybe not a big problem if Kim can deny a small mission request - but she can't... Episode 45 Kim Possible: Sick Day [Content] It's late at night, and Kim's just finished her homework with Ron. Jim & Tim also here, but they've got cold, which make Kim more carefully contacting with them. Unfortunately, she still got sick in the next day, and it's real hard to stay still in bed with Kim. Everything has just got worse when mission is available and Kim won't agree to deny... Just a little protects duty but her sick won't allow her to work well today... First by letting Draken in, then Kim was unable to fight Shego off. A few tries and Shego finally stole the Ray-X machine from Kim's hand. That's bad...

1956 Philco E-1762 record changer 'in action' with 45's
I found this 1956 philco at a local antique mall, and passed it up a few times. But the temptation led me back, After some tinkering and negotiating, I bought it for $60. Smartest decision ever! After some cleaning and adjusting, I ended up with this fully functional 1956 E-1762 floor model turntable/changer which I have used for nearly every video on youtube. It still has its owners manual and has 3 speed settings (33/45/78). It has a unique style flip-needle to change from the 33/45 LP microgroove needle to the harder, heavier 78RPM SP needle. It flips forward and backward on a swivel instead of flipping upside down. Sort of a teeter-totter affect, with both needles on the same side of the cartridge. One in front, one to the rear. It also came with some metal 45 center adaptors, as well as a 45 'changer' adaptor which allows you to stack up to 14 45RPM records which it will automatically go through without being touched. It can do 14 LP's or 12 78's this way as well, but I choose not to do 78's as they clank down quite hard, and tend to be too fragile for such a drop. I decided to type how it works instead of narrating it. I will use 3 colored vinyl records for this video to better help you see what it does. The records are: Blue: 'Neath the Southern Moon by Al Goodman and Orchestra Red: Chicken Reel by the Boston Pops Green: A Heart Full of Love by Eddy Arnold. How it works: To the bottom left you will see the record 'shelf', and poking out from its center is a metal arched arm with two nylon wheels at its end. The shelf portion has three sides, one for 7", one for 10", and one for 12" records. The speed is set manually, so it is critical that all the records be of the same size AND speed to be properly played in auto mode. So when you have chosen your disc size, you rotate the shelf to the appropriate size. In this case, the 7" side. You can then stack your records, and then turn the 'hold down' arm in. This holds them all in place, but also serves another function later. With your records stacked, speed and needle set, You can now hit the 'reject' knob, which sets it all in motion. First, the needle will swing out and a lever underneath will sense the position of the shelf, thus telling it where to drop the needle (7" in). Then, The center spindle will lean towards the shelf, and with the help of a little tab, will allow one record to drop. When the record falls, the spring loaded hold-down arm drops down the thickness of the one dropped record. This 'drop' tells the player that one record has fallen, and thusly sets the needle in place. After the last record has played, The spindle leans forward, But the hold down arm does not drop as there are no records left. With no drop of the hold down, The player knows no record has fallen, and thusly places the arm back in its holder. However, It does not stop the spinning of the platter or turn off the machine. A minor nuisance at most. By The Way....Its quick and easy to set up. Doing it one handed while looking at the back of a camera made it go a little sloppy, but its very fluid when you do it normally.

45. Stop Your Mind From Causing You to Take Profits Too Soon
http://www.informedtrades.com/ A lesson on psychology of trading and how it relates to people's inability to let their profits run when trading the stock, futures, or forex markets. In yesterday's lesson we looked at how many traders use technical indicators as an additional factor they consider when deciding when to exit a trade. In today's lesson we are going to begin to move into the next phase of our series on money management, with a look at how traders go about taking profits once a position moves in their favo,r and some of the difficulties that are associated with this. Before getting into the details of what a trailing stop is and how many traders use them, it is first important to understand the psychology behind taking profits. Develop From the last several lessons you should not have a good understanding of some of the psychological difficulties people have in taking losses, and some of the different money management strategies that can be put into place to help overcome these difficulties that are the downfall of so many traders. What may come as a surprise to many of you is that just as many traders have problems letting their profits run as they do in cutting their losses. To help illustrate this I am going to give a quote from one of my favorite books on money management strategies Trade Your Way to Financial Freedom by Dr. Van K. Tharp. When explaining this concept in his book he gives the example below: When given a chance for "1. a sure $9000 gain or 2. a 95% chance of a $10,000 gain plus a 5% chance of no gain at all....which would you choose?" A study which was done on this showed that 80% of the population chose the sure thing even though the second opportunity represents a $500 larger gain on average. Similar to the way that human's are raised in a way that does not allow them to accept losses our environment also teaches us to seize opportunities quickly, or "that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush", a rule that goes against the second half of the most important rule of trading: "Cut Your Losses and Let Your Profits Run" With this in mind we can now move into the next phase of our series of money management with a look at some of the different ways that traders go about managing their position once it begins to move in their favor starting with a look at trailing stops. Once a position has begun to move in a traders favor, many traders will implement a trailing stop which is basically a strategy for moving the stop they have implemented on their position up when they are long or down when they are short to lesson the loss or increase the amount of profit they will take should the market reverse and begin to move in the opposite direction of their position. As you may realize from watching my previous lessons we have already gone over one precise method which many traders use for setting trailing stops, the Parabolic SAR. In tomorrow's lesson we are going to go over several other methods, so we hope to see you in that lesson. As always if you have any questions or comments please feel free to leave them in the comments section below so we can all learn to trade together, and good luck with your trading!
